ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College's
Brooke Graesslin (Janesville, Wis.) and Zeke Micheel (Salt Lake City, Utah) broke their own school records on Thursday to highlight the Warriors' performances at the season-ending Augustana Midwest Twilight Qualifier.
Graesslin, a senior, broke her own school record from a season ago of 2:17.10 in the 800m with a new personal-best time of 2:16.55. The mark was good for 12th in the event and the fastest in the NACC this season.
Micheel, a junior, finished eighth in the 3,000m Steeplechase in a school-record and NACC top season time of 9:21.13, breaking his own school record of 9:24.51 set at the same event a year ago.Â
Junior
Janae Jensen (Slinger, Wis.) recorded a pair of personal-best times in the 100m (12.57) and 200m (25.57). Both marks rank second in the NACC in their respective events this year.
WLC concludes its 2023 outdoor season with a trio of school records set between the men's and women's programs.
