DE PERE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College finished seventh behind four third-place finishes at the 2023 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Outdoor Championships on Friday and Saturday hosted by St. Norbert at Schneider Stadium.
The Warriors scored 43 points for a seventh-place finish at the championships. St. Norbert claimed its second straight outdoor conference title with 207.5 points and five event wins.
Junior
Janae Jensen (Slinger, Wis.) posted third-place finishes in both the 100m (12.85) and 200m (25.91). Her time in the later event was good for a personal best.Â
Senior
Brooke Graesslin (Janesville, Wis.) placed third in the 800m with a time of 2:21.56. Junior
Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) was fifth with a personal best (2:23.96) and senior
Emily Herried (Necedah, Wis.) was seventh (2:34.46).
WLC's 4x400m Relay team of Jensen, Mueller, Herried, and Graesslin were also third with a season-best time of 4:09.78.
Sophomore
Rachel Romens (Slinger, Wis.) leaped to a fourth-place finish in the High Jump, clearing a personal-best height of 1.47m. She was also eighth in the 200m with a time of 27.36 seconds. Her preliminary time in the event of 26.67 seconds marked a personal best.

Senior
Kayla Pagel (Kenosha, Wis.) recorded a seventh-place throw in the Hammer of 38.24m. Sweem was also seventh in the Javelin with a toss of 29.31m.
Herried came in eighth in the 1,500m with a personal-best time of 5:10.24.Â
The Warriors have one "last chance" meet on the schedule next week, the UW-La Crosse Eagle Open on Friday, May 12.Â
