APPLETON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College finished eighth at the Gene Davis Invitational on Saturday at Reid Municipal Golf Course. The Warriors totaled 214 points in the 10-team scoring field.

Emily Herried (Necedah, Wis.) placed 58th to lead WLC with a 6K time of 26:00.6. Sophomore
Madelyn Beyer (Appleton, Wis.) was 74th with a time of 26:43.1, sophomore
Rachel Homan (New Lisbon, Wis.) was 76th with a personal-best time of 26:46.9, and senior
Louisa Felgenhauer (West Bend, Wis.) was 80th with a time of 27:00.5. Junior Slyvia Walentowski (Neenah, Wis.) rounded out Wisconsin Lutheran's team score in 91st with a time of 27:38.7.
Host Lawrence had three finishers in the top-8 to win the team title with 33 points. Cheyenne Moore, an unattached runner from UW-Oshkosh, won the individual 6K race with a time of 21:49.5.
Next week, the Warriors will send runners to both the Private College Championships in Mequon and Tori Neubauer Invitational in West Salem. Both 6K events are scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
