ONALASKA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College finished fourth at the Viterbo V-Hawk Invitational played Monday and Tuesday at La Crosse Country Club. The Warriors totaled a two-round team score of 327-318--645 on the par 72 course layout.
Freshman
Isaiah Schaser (Newburg, Wis.) tied for 13th with a 78-81--159 to lead WLC in the 53-player field. Senior
Kale Gnewikow (Warrens, Wis.) and junior
Riley Tanzi (West Bend, Wis.) tied for 16th with identical rounds of 83-78--161. Senior
Luke Movrich (Appleton, Wis.) tied for 20th with a 83-81--164, and junior
Luke Capstran (Oak Creek, Wis.) rounded out the lineup with a 84-85--169.
Kirkwood Community College won the seven-team event with a 301-299--600. Aaron Estell of Kirkwood collected medalist honors with a three-under 70-71--141.
Wisconsin Lutheran plays the fall rounds of the 2024-2025 NACC Championship on Sunday and Monday at the Meadow Valleys of Blackwolf Run in Kohler. Tee time both days is scheduled for 10 a.m. Live results can be found at WLCSports.com.
