WEST DUNDEE, Ill. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College placed seventh at the Judson Spring Invitational on Monday at Randall Oaks Golf Club.
The Warriors posted a team score of 319 (+35) in the single-round event. Elmhurst captured the 22-team title with a 303 (+19).
Individually, WLC was led by senior
Riley Tanzi (West Bend, Wis.), who tied for 20th out of 129 players with a seven-over-par 78.
Senior
Luke Capstran (Oak Creek, Wis.) followed with a tie for 24th after carding a 79 (+8), while sophomore
Brayden Bode (Oak Creek, Wis.) finished tied for 35th with an 80 (+9).
Junior
Alex Buckoski (Kaukauna, Wis.) added an 82 (+11) to place tied for 53rd, and sophomore
Isaiah Schaser (Newburg, Wis.) rounded out Wisconsin Lutheran's lineup with an 84 (+13), tying for 64th.
The tournament medalist honor was shared by Judson's Riley Coakley and Elgin Community College's Nooa Hakala, who each fired a one-over-par 72 to tie for first place.
The Warriors to action on Thursday at the Firebird Spring Invitational, hosted by Carthage at Meadowbrook Country Club in Racine. The event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
