RACINE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College placed 18th at the Firebird Spring Invitational on Thursday at Meadowbrook Country Club.
The Warriors carded a team score of 339 (+55) in the one-round event.

Darren Niedfeldt (Beloit, Wis.) led WLC with an 11-over-par 82, finishing tied for 51st. Sophomore
Caleb DeRuiter (Milwaukee, Wis.) followed with an 85 (+14) to tie for 79th.

Tim Valerio (Pewaukee, Wis.) and junior
Luka Stojadinovic (Oak Creek, Wis.) each posted rounds of 86 (+15) to tie for 83rd, while sophomore
Brycen Tanzi (West Bend, Wis.) recorded an 89 (+18) to place 93rd. Competing as an individual, sophomore
Noah Weidner (Columbus, Wis.) finished 97th with a 95 (+24).
North Park claimed the 18-team title with a 298 (+14), edging Carroll (304, +20). Alexander Remahl of North Park earned medalist honors in the 99-player field with an even-par 71.
Wisconsin Lutheran hosts the Morningstar Masters on Sunday and Monday at Morningstar Golfers Club in Waukesha. Live scoring will be available at WLCSports.com.
