CHICAGO, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College recorded nine personal-best marks on Saturday at the Windy City Rumble hosted by the University of Chicago at Henry Crown Field House.
Senior
Janae Jensen (Slinger, Wis.) leaped to a sixth-place finish among 23 competitors in the Long Jump with a personal-best distance of 5.13m.
Senior
Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) placed eighth out of 54 runners in the 800m with a time of 2:28.97. Sophomore
Leah Schmidt (Bonduel, Wis.) also came in eighth out of 31 throwers in the Shot Put with a personal-best toss of 10.74m. She also posted a personal-best mark in the Weight Throw (11.91m).
Other Warriors who recorded personal-best marks on the day were junior
Louisa Felgenhauer (West Bend, Wis.) in the 3000m (12:33.47), junior
Stephanie Schafer (Lake Mills, Wis.) in the Shot Put (9.35m) and Weight Throw (12.15m), senior
Olivia Baker (Hillsboro, Ore.) in the Shot Put (9.06m) and Weight Throw (10.81m), and sophomore
Leah Wierschke (Mill Creek, Wash.) in the Weight Throw (12.37m).
