Janae Jensen (Slinger, Wis.) set a new school record in the Long Jump and junior
Rachel Romens (Slinger, Wis.) won the High Jump to lead Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday at the non-scoring Panther Tune-Up.
Jensen set a new school record in the Long Jump with a mark of 5.49m for sixth place in the event. She bested the previous school record of 5.32m held by Leah Rosenow at the 2020 NACC Championships. Jensen was also fourth in the 200m with a time of 26.58 seconds.
Romens won the High Jump by clearing a height of 1.60m. She also claimed a sixth-place finish in the 200m with a personal-best time of 26.83 seconds.
Senior
Anna Raasch (Germantown, Wis.) sprinted to a runner-up finish in the 400m with a personal-best time of 59.51 seconds. Senior
Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) also posted a personal-best time in the event of 1:03.54 for seventh place.
Graduate student
Emily Herried (Necedah, Wis.) was fourth in the 800m with a time of 2:29.59, while freshman
Madelyn Beyer (Appleton, Wis.) was eighth in 2:41.37.
The Warriors' 4x400m Relay team of Mueller, Raasch, freshman
Natalie Punzel (Watertown, Wis.), and Herried won the event with a time of 4:24.98.
Junior
Emma Ries (La Crescent, Minn.) placed third in the High Jump at 1.45m, junior
Emily Meiller (Madison, Wis.) was sixth at 1.30m, and freshman
Madelyn Vanderhoof (Watertown, Wis.) was eighth at 1.25m.
Sophomore
Leah Schmidt (Bonduel, Wis.) finished sixth in the Shot Put (10.16m) and seventh with a personal-best toss in the Weight Throw (13.03m). Sophomore
Leah Wierschke (Mill Creek, Wash.) was also eighth in the Weight Throw (12.07m).
WLC competes in the NACC Indoor Championships on Friday and Saturday at Skyward Fieldhouse in Stevens Point. Friday's events begin with the Multis at 11 a.m., while Saturday's action starts with the Multis at 9 a.m. Live results will be available at WLCSports.com.
