STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College finished fifth out of nine scoring teams with 46 points on Friday and Saturday at the 2024 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships at Skyward Fieldhouse.
Junior
Rachel Romens (Slinger, Wis.), who accounted for 23 of her team's points at the championships, broke her own school record in the Triple Jump with a mark of 10.91m for third place in the event. Her previous school-record mark was 10.58m from the Leonard Squig Invitational on Jan. 27. She also finished runner-up in the Long Jump (5.33m), third in the High Jump (1.59m), and sixth in the 200m (26.77).
Senior
Anna Raasch (Germantown, Wis.) came in third in the 400m with a time of 59.97 seconds.

Janae Jensen (Slinger, Wis.) was fourth in the 200m in 26.56 seconds, while senior
Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) also posted a fourth-place finish in the 800m with a time of 2:27.10.

Emma Ries (La Crescent, Minn.) placed sixth in the High Jump by clearing a personal-best 1.51m.
Wisconsin Lutheran will next compete in a pair of "last chance" meets next weekend at Carthage (March 1) and Ripon (March 2).
