RIPON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Junior
Rachel Romens (Slinger, Wis.) set a school record in the High Jump and Wisconsin Lutheran College claimed two event victories at the Red Hawk Invite on Saturday at the Willmore Center. The Warriors finished eighth out of 11 scoring teams with 30 points.

Janae Jensen (Slinger, Wis.), Romens, senior
Anna Raasch (Germantown, Wis.), and senior
Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) won the event with a time of 4:25.36.
Raasch also recorded a first-place finish in the 400m, topping the 21-sprinter field with a personal-best time of 59.98 seconds.
Romens cleared a school-record height of 1.62m for a second-place finish out of 20 competitors in the High Jump. She bested the previous school record of 1.56m held by Kiana Granath from Feb. 25, 2017.
Jensen finished seventh out of 47 competitors in the 200m with a time of 27.29 seconds.Â
WLC travels to the University of Chicago next Saturday to compete in the Windy City Rumble. Events are scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
