WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Junior
Rachel Romens (Slinger, Wis.) won two field events to lead Wisconsin Lutheran College at the Warrior Invitational on Thursday at Raabe Stadium. The Warriors scored 59 points for a fifth-place finish at the 11-team scoring event.
Romens won the High Jump by clearing 1.50m, and the Long Jump with a personal-best mark of 5.32m. It was her fourth and fifth career outdoor victories.
Senior
Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) posted a runner-up finish in the 400m with a time of 1:04.32.Â
Freshmen
Madelyn Beyer (Appleton, Wis.) and
Rachel Homan (New Lisbon, Wis.) placed fifth and sixth in the 800m, respectively, with times of 2:38.49 and 2:43.62.Â
Graduate student
Emily Herried (Necedah, Wis.) came in sixth in the 1500m with a time of 5:23.52.
Freshman
Marin Schibbelhut (Onalaska, Wis.) finished sixth in the 100m Hurdles with a time of 19.79 seconds.Â
Junior
Autumn Przybyla (Belvidere, Ill.) recorded a personal-best toss of 26.88m in the Javelin for a sixth-place finish.Â

Madelyn Vanderhoof (Watertown, Wis.) and junior
Emily Meiller (Madison, Wis.) were seventh and eighth, respectively, in the Long Jump with marks of 1.30m.

Natalie Punzel (Watertown, Wis.), and Herried was second in 4:34.98, while the 4x100m Relay team of Romens, Przybyla, sophomore
Lucia Gallardo Martos (Torrejon De Ardoz, Spain), and Vanderhoof was fifth in 54.81 seconds.
Wisconsin Lutheran competes at the Private College Championships next Saturday, April 6 hosted by Carroll. Events are scheduled to start at 10 a.m. at the Dennis Punches Track and Field Complex in Waukesha.
