Leah Schmidt (Bonduel, Wis.) broke a pair of 15-year-old field event school records and junior
Rachel Romens (Slinger, Wis.) surpassed a school record mark of her own, leading Wisconsin Lutheran College at the 2024 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Outdoor Championships on Friday and Saturday at Raabe Stadium.
The Warriors scored 38 points for an eighth-place team finish. St. Norbert captured its third straight NACC title with 189.5 points despite winning just three events.
Schmidt finished fourth in the Discus with a mark of 37.53m, surpassing Alex Blahnik's previous school record of 34.94m from April 25, 2009. Schmidt was also fifth in the Hammer with a mark of 41.77m, edging Emily Goss' prior school record of 40.56m from April 18, 2009.
Romens, who placed third in the Triple Jump at 11.16m, broke her own school record of 10.97m from the Beloit Relays on April 13. She also scored a fifth-place finish in the High Jump (1.51m) and an eighth-place landing in the Long Jump (5.02m).

Janae Jensen (Slinger, Wis.) posted a third-place finish in the 200m at 25.93 seconds, and was sixth in the 100m at 12.55 seconds.

Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) posted a personal-best time of 2:21.81 in the 800m for fourth place.
WLC's 4x100m and 4x400m Relay teams each finished seventh with times of 57.18 and 4:21.79, respectively.
Wisconsin Lutheran competes at the St. Francis Fighting Chance Invite next Friday and Saturday in Joliet, Illinois.
