KANSASVILLE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College tied for 30th out of 44 teams at the Midwest Region Fall Classic played Friday and Saturday at Brighton Dale Links. The Warriors totaled a two-round tournament team score of 310-311-621.
Junior
Riley Tanzi (West Bend, Wis.) tied for 74th to lead WLC with a 73-77-150. Freshman
Isaiah Schaser (Newburg, Wis.) tied for 103rd with a 77-76-153, junior
Luke Capstran (Oak Creek, Wis.) tied for 151st with a 80-78-158, and senior
Kale Gnewikow (Warrrens, Wis.) tied for 171st with a 80-80--160. Senior
Luke Movrich (Appleton, Wis.) rounded out the team score for Wisconsin Lutheran with a 85-84--169.Â
Freshman
Brayden Bode (Oak Creek, Wis.) was the low scorer for the Warriors' 'B' team with a 76-76--152 to finish tied for 91st.
Carthage won the 44-team tournament with a 291-275--566. Tanner Angelstad of Carthage claimed medalist honors in the 244-player field with a seven-under 69-68--137.
WLC competes in the UW-Stout Fall Invitational next Sunday and Monday at Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva.
