KENOSHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College scored 21 points for a fifth-place finish at the season-opening Firebird First Invitational hosted by Carthage on Saturday at Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center.
Senior
Rachel Romens (Slinger, Wis.) scored 10 points for the Warriors, as she placed second in the High Jump (1.58m) and seventh in the Long Jump (5.14m).
Sophomore
Madelyn Vanderhoof (Watertown, Wis.) finished fifth in the 200m with a time of 30.07 seconds. Senior
Louisa Felgenhauer (West Bend, Wis.) was also fifth in the 3,000m with a time of 13:53.41.
Freshman
Amelia Kelley (Appleton, Wis.) came in seventh in the Pole Vault with a height of 2.30m.
Sophomore
Marin Schibbelhut (Onalaska, Wis.) placed eighth in the 55m Hurdles with a personal-best time of 11.42 seconds.
UW-Parkside won five events and scored 133.5 points to claim the seven-team scoring title.
