GREEN BAY, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College finished second at the St. Norbert Spring Invitational on Monday at Green Bay Country Club.
The Warriors totaled a team score of 330 (+42) to hold onto second place by three shots. Host St. Norbert fired a 308 (+20) to win the seven-team event. Dawson Fish and Nathan Thomson of St. Norbert shared medalist honors with a 76 (+4).
Junior
Riley Tanzi (West Bend, Wis.) tied for fourth out of 44 players with a 78 (+6) to lead WLC. Freshman
Brycen Tanzi (West Bend, Wis.) was 12th with an 82 (+10), and senior
Luke Movrich (Appleton, Wis.) tied for 13th with an 83 (+11).
Freshman
Isaiah Schaser (Newburg, Wis.) tied for 18th with an 84 (+12), while freshman
Brayden Bode (Oak Creek, Wis.) and junior
Luke Capstran (Oak Creek, Wis.) tied for 20th with an 85 (+13).
Wisconsin Lutheran plays the third round of the 2024-2025 NACC Championship on Sunday in Aurora, Illinois. Tee time is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Stonebridge Country Club. The Warriors are currently in third place with a 321-316--637.
