HARTFORD, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College finished 10th out of 15 teams at its home WLC Fall Invitational, played Saturday and Sunday at Washington County Golf Course.
The Warriors' carded a two-day total of 628 (309-319). Leading the way for WLC was senior
Riley Tanzi (West Bend, Wis.), who tied for 20th with a score of 152 (79-73). Junior
Tim Valerio (Pewaukee, Wis.) tied for 36th at 156 (76-80), while sophomore
Isaiah Schaser (Newburg, Wis.) finished tied for 46th with a 159 (76-83). Junior
Luka Stojadinovic (Oak Creek, Wis.) tied for 55th after shooting 161 (78-83), and sophomore
Brayden Bode (Oak Creek, Wis.) tied for 70th with a 164 (81-83).
Wisconsin Lutheran's B team was 14th with a team score of 641 (322-319). Sophomore
Brycen Tanzi (West Bend, Wis.) paced the B squad, tying for 36th with a 156 (82-74).
MSOE won the team title with a score of 593 (293-300), narrowly edging runner-up Carthage by one stroke. Carthage's James Trachsel claimed medalist honors in the 86-player field with a one-under-par 143 (70-73).
The Warriors next compete in the Midwest Region Fall Classic on Friday and Saturday at Brighton Dale Links in Kansasville.
