SUPERIOR, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College finished eighth at the two-day Twin Ports Collegiate, which concluded Sunday at Nemadji Golf Club. The Warriors carded rounds of 313 and 314 for a 627 total.
Sophomore
Brayden Bode (Oak Creek, Wis.) paced WLC with rounds of 75 and 77. Just one shot back was senior
Riley Tanzi (West Bend, Wis.), who posted scores of 78 and 75. Sophomore
Isaiah Schaser (Newburg, Wis.) contributed rounds of 80 and 79, while freshman
Braden Naumann (Hartland, Wis.) shot 80 and 83. Rounding out the lineup was senior
Luke Capstran (Oak Creek, Wis.) with rounds of 83 and 84.
UW-Superior won the tournament with a 599 (299-300), while Yellow Jacket Andrew Slatten claimed medalist honors with a 2-under-par 142 (72-70).
Wisconsin Lutheran next competes at the Firebird Fall Classic on Monday and Tuesday. First round play is scheduled for 10 a.m. tomorrow at Ives Grove Golf Links in Sturtevant. A live coverage link will be available at WLCSports.com.
