MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – Four Wisconsin Lutheran College student-athletes have been selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Senior
Logan Hennen (West Bend, Wis.) and junior
Connor Heezen (Pulaski, Wis.) represented the Warriors men's tennis team, while senior
Ali Schmidt (Germantown, Wis.) and sophomore
Maddy Olson (Onalaska, Wis.) represented the WLC women's tennis team.
Hennen, a Mathematics and Computer Science major, collected one singles win and one doubles victory. This is his first CSC Academic All-District® honor.
Heezen, a Sports Management major, won two singles matches and four doubles contests. This is the first CSC Academic All-District® honor for the All-NACC Doubles selection.
Schmidt, a Nursing major, recorded seven singles victories and seven doubles triumphs. This is the second CSC Academic All-District® honor for the All-NACC Singles honoree.
Olson, a Nursing major, won five times in singles play and six times in doubles competition. This is her first CSC Academic All-District® honor.
The 2024-2025 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and be in the lineup for 70 percent of an institution's days of competition (regional competition such as ITAs and non-team scored events do not count).
