Hall of Fame
A key member in the development and success of the Wisconsin Lutheran College Athletics Department was Cheryl (Pasbrig) Iwinski, who served the college for 15 years (1991-2005) as Assistant to the Athletics Director, Assistant Athletics Director, Associate Athletics Director, and Senior Woman Administrator. She was named the Lake Michigan Conference Administrator of the Year in 1994-1995 and WISAA Woman of the Year in 1997-1998 for her outstanding contributions to the state private high school association. Pasbrig coordinated all home events during a time when WLC did not have any home facilities, including two years while she was still a student at the college. After the Recreation Complex was constructed in 1992, she organized several high school basketball tournaments and regionals, as well as the state volleyball championships. A strong advocate for women participating in athletics, Pasbrig served as chairperson of several conference committees during her tenure at WLC.
