Four-time (1993-1997) Wisconsin Lutheran College all-conference men's basketball selection Scott Frey is linked to the most dominant team in program history. Frey and the Warriors went 22-7 and advanced to the NAIA Elite Eight in 1996, winning a program-record 14 straight games. A 1997 Honorable Mention All-American and Lake Michigan Conference Player of the Year, Frey scored 1,839 career points, which ranks fourth all-time for the Warriors. He earned LMC Honorable Mention accolades his first three seasons as a Warrior and was a member of the first two conference championship teams in school history. Frey's 503 career free throws made ranks first all-time and his 274 three-pointers made stands second in program history. He is tied for first in both games played (32) and started (29) in a season. Frey, whose career-high 38 points scored in a game ranks fifth all-time, averaged a career-best 19.1 points per game his sophomore season. On the baseball diamond, Frey earned LMC Honorable Mention honors for the Warriors as a senior in 1997.
