Kristen Schulz was the most dominant post player to compete in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) as a member of the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's basketball team. A 2015 D3hoops.com First Team All-American, Schulz racked up a NCAA Division III record 28 double-doubles and led the country with 456 rebounds her senior season. Twice named NACC Defensive Player of the Year, the Safford, Arizona, native earned the conference's Player of the Year award in 2015. The two-time D3hoops.com All-Region performer won the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week award 15 times. Schulz concluded her illustrious career as the NACC's all-time leader in rebounds (1,229), blocked shots (360), and games started (113). The 6-3 center also set NACC single-season highs for points (637), field goals made (257), rebounds (456), blocked shots (142), and double-doubles (28). The first player in league history to record two triple-doubles in a season, Schulz became the first student-athlete in WLC history to earn First Team All-American honors across all sports. A four-time NACC Scholar-Athlete, Schulz scored 1,539 career points, which ranks fourth on the program's all-time scoring list. She also capped off her career as the program's leader in double-doubles (55), field goal percentage (.550), and games played (114).
