Renee Kietzmann was a three-sport star at Wisconsin Lutheran College, excelling in women's basketball, softball, and volleyball from 1988-1989 through 1991-1992. She earned 12 combined all-conference honors and holds program records in each sport. In women's basketball, Kietzmann was a four-time All-Lake Michigan Conference selection and was an NAIA All-District performer in 1991 and 1992. She also became the first Warrior to compete at a National Tournament, as she qualified for the NAIA national three-point shooting contest in 1990. Kietzmann is the Warriors' all-time career leader in steals (287) and field goals attempted (1,614). She also ranks second all-time in points (1,731), scoring average (16.6), field goals made (633), free throw percentage (.765), steals per game (2.8), and ranks third in three-point field goals made (143) and attempted (441). Kietzmann also ranks second in single-game school history with 44 points scored on January 19, 1989 at Maranatha. She owns the single-season school record in scoring average (19.7) set in 1988-1989 and swiped a school-record 86 steals in 1990-1991. On the softball diamond, Kietzmann was a four-time (1989-1992) All-Lake Michigan Conference selection and was twice named to the Lake Michigan Conference All-Tournament team (1990-1991). She was named NAIA All-District from 1990-1992 and was the NAIA District Player of the Year and made the NAIA All-America Second Team in 1992. As a freshman in 1989, Kietzmann established single-season school records in batting average (.556) and assists (89). She is the Warriors' all-time career leader in batting average (.467) and assists (253), ranks second all-time in slugging percentage (.724) and walks (61), and is tied for third in home runs (nine) and RBI (69). On the volleyball court, Kietzmann was a four-time (1988-1991) All-Lake Michigan Conference selection and three-time (1989-1991) NAIA All-District performer. Kietzmann led WLC to three straight Lake Michigan Conference titles from 1989-1991. She established the single-season school record with 62 service aces in 1991. Kietzmann ranks third in program history in career service aces (143) and fifth in assists (1,332).
