Kon Knueppel was a four-time (1995-1998) All-Lake Michigan Conference selection for the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's basketball team. The 6-foot-4 guard/forward was a two-time (1995-1996, 1997-1998) Lake Michigan Conference Player of the Year and the Lake Michigan Conference Rookie of the Year in 1994-1995. He was also an NAIA All-America Honorable Mention in 1996-1997. Knueppel led the Warriors to three straight conference titles from 1996-1998 and helped them win the Lake Michigan Conference Tournament title in 1998. WLC posted a program-best 22-7 record when Knueppel was a sophomore in 1995-1996. The Warriors' all-time leading scorer with 2,064 career points, Knueppel re-wrote the school record book, setting career marks in field goals made (751), rebounds (833), offensive rebounds (347), steals (235), and games started (106). Knueppel also ranks second all-time in scoring average (19.3) and rebounds per game (7.8). During the 1995-1996 season, Knueppel established single-season school records in field goals made (232), three-point percentage (.471), offensive rebounds (103), and steals (80).
