The winningest coach in Wisconsin Lutheran College women's volleyball history, Clarence Jenkins guided the Warriors to a string of four straight Lake Michigan Conference championships. That stretch of success also included the school's first-ever league title in 1989 and first district championship in 1992. WLC capped the most successful season in program history in 1989 by tying for fifth place in the NAIA District 14 Tournament with a 20-3 overall mark. The Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, native compiled an impressive coaching resume, posting a 95-37 career record in just five seasons (1988-1992), which equates to a .720 winning percentage. The four-time LMC Coach of the Year amassed a 40-2 conference record, including a stretch of three consecutive unblemished league seasons. Jenkins' teams were the first nationally ranked in school history and tallied three straight 20-win campaigns, a feat unmatched during any other era in program history. A two-time NAIA District 14 Coach of the Year, Jenkins was the first coach in the college's history to mentor a student-athlete to All-American honors.
