Kaitlyn (Strehlow) Halberg helped the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's tennis team reach new heights in just two seasons with the Warriors. Halberg was crowned Northern Athletics Conference Player of the Year in 2011 and 2012, becoming the third player in conference history and the second in program history to achieve the milestone in back-to-back seasons. The two-time All-NAC Singles and All-NAC Doubles selection set a school and conference record with 24 singles victories as a junior. In only two seasons, the six-time NAC Student-Athlete of the Week posted a perfect 17-0 conference record at No. 1 singles, along with a 17-3 league mark at No. 1 doubles. Halberg boasted a 39-6 career singles record and a 33-16 career doubles record, ranking second and third respectively for career program wins. The Hales Corners, Wisconsin, native helped guide the Warriors to their first NCAA Tournament appearance after posting a school-record 17 wins in 2011-2012. Halberg also helped lead WLC to a combined 20-2 conference record and a conference runner-up finish.
