Emily (Henrich) Brauer was one of the most successful women's tennis players in Lake Michigan Conference history. Brauer became the first player from Wisconsin Lutheran College to earn LMC Player of the Year honors in program history, achieving the milestone both in 2004 and 2005. As a freshman in 2003, Brauer also received LMC Rookie of the Year honors. WLC won back-to-back conference championships in Brauer's first two seasons and finished runner-up her junior and senior year. The Milwaukee native was a three-time LMC singles champion and two-time doubles champion. She collected conference singles titles at No. 1 (2005) and No. 2 (2003-2004), and doubles titles at No. 2 (2004) and No. 3 (2003). She also finished runner-up in the NACC in both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles her senior season. Brauer compiled a 22-2 career conference singles record and the Warriors went 21-3 in conference matches during her four-year career.
