Jamie Hennen made an immediate impact on the Wisconsin Lutheran College baseball team after transferring into the program as a sophomore in 1993. The Sheboygan, Wisconsin, native earned First Team All-Lake Michigan Conference (LMC) honors each of his three seasons with the Warriors, becoming the first player in program history to earn First Team all-conference recognition multiple times. Hennen was one of three players in the history of the program to be selected NAIA All-District, a feat which was bestowed upon him in 1994. Earlier that season, Hennen became the first known player in the program to earn a conference Player of the Week award. Behind a .460 conference-only batting average, he helped lead WLC to a 10-6 record within the LMC his senior season. Playing in 57 games, Hennen posted a career .433 batting average (77-for-178). The shortstop and center fielder also slugged an astounding .674 with 16 doubles, nine triples, and three home runs. He registered 50 runs batted in, 43 runs scored, and stole 21 bases.
