Michelle Shambeau is one of the most overpowering pitchers to ever toe the rubber for the Wisconsin Lutheran College softball team. A four-time (2005-2008) all-conference selection, Shambeau holds 14 program records, including individual career marks for earned run average (2.70), innings pitched (656.2), wins (48), batters faced (2809), appearances (114), complete games (76), shutouts (17), and strikeouts (667). The Two Rivers native led the LMC in seven pitching categories as a sophomore, including strikeouts in both 2006 and 2007. She finished second in the NACC in K's as a senior. Her career-high 18 strikeouts during a game her sophomore season was the most by any conference pitcher during her four-year career. Shambeau accounted for a career-best 17 of the Warriors' then program-record 19 wins in the circle in 2008, the same year WLC reached the NACC Tournament for the first time. She earned First Team all-conference honors three times (2006-2008) and was named to the NFCA All-Great Lakes Region Second Team as a senior.
