Ellyn Mortell re-wrote the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's golf record book during her four seasons (2014-2017) with the Warriors. The first conference Player of the Year in program history, Mortell accomplished the feat in back-to-back seasons to become the third student-athlete in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference history to repeat as championship medalist. A four-time All-NACC performer, the Eden Prairie, Minnesota, native dethroned the two-time defending champion at the 2015 NACC Championship by two shots to earn her first major conference award. One year later, she held off the runner-up finisher by two strokes to claim her second consecutive Player of the Year honor. Mortell, who boasts 22 career top-5 finishes and 14 event wins, was voted NACC Student-Athlete of the Week a program-record five times. The 2016-2017 NACC Scholar-Athlete holds the top four season scoring averages in program history, and her 87.1 career scoring average ranks atop the program record books. Nineteen of Mortell's individual rounds are scattered throughout the top-10 in program history, including a program-record 5-over 76.
