Sara Zondag had the best four-year career of any player to don the Forest Green and White jersey for the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's basketball team. She was a four-time All-Lake Michigan Conference selection from 1998-2001, and Lake Michigan Conference Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year as a freshman in 1997-1998. Zondag led WLC to a Lake Michigan Conference title as a senior in 2001, and a conference tournament championship in 2000 for the program's first NCAA Tournament berth. Zondag is the Warriors' all-time career scoring leader with 1,742 points and 17.2 points per game. The 6-foot-3 center also owns all-time career marks for field goals made (685), free throws made (372), free throws attempted (555), rebounds (1259), rebounding average (12.5), defensive rebounds (782), offensive rebounds (477), blocked shots (334), and blocked shots per game (3.3). As a senior in 2000-2001, Zondag established single-season school records with 364 rebounds, 144 offensive rebounds, 14.0 rebounds per game, 116 blocked shots, and 4.5 blocks per game. Her 18.8 points per game in 2000-2001 ranks second all-time and she stands third all-time with 18.6 points per game in 1997-1998. Zondag holds the single-game school record with nine blocked shots, a feat which she accomplished twice.
