Hall of Fame
The first Wisconsin Lutheran College goalkeeper to lead his team to a 10-win season, Matt Eisold established himself as one of the premier shot stoppers in the Northern Athletics Conference. Starting every game over the final three seasons of his four-year (2006-2009) Warriors career, Eisold was a three-time All-NAC performer. In his first year as a starter, he earned Second Team All-NAC honors while leading WLC (10-9-1, 6-3-1 NAC) to a 2007 NAC Tournament berth, the team's second straight postseason appearance. Following an Honorable Mention nod in 2008, Eisold collected First Team All-NAC and All-State Honorable Mention recognition as a senior, becoming just the second player at his position in program history to achieve the feat. The Burlington, Wisconsin, native led the league in saves (148), save percentage (.836), and saves per game (8.22). In 58 career games, the fourth-most by a goalkeeper in NAC history, Eisold ranks second in the conference with 398 career saves. He concluded his career with a .798 save percentage, 19 victories, and eight shutouts. The two-time NAC Scholar-Athlete and once noted NAC Student-Athlete of the Week became the first player in program history to ink a professional contract.
